Bombato

Bombato is the first game project that I worked on with a couple of friends. My job in this game was mainly to help design the main mechanic, make the sound design, and help with the pixel art, while my partners did the programming and part of the pixel art. The objective was to participate in a Game Jam contest which the idea was to create a short game in one weekend.

Design

Production

Being a producer for a project for 48 hours is hard. In the sense that you don’t have time to have long team meetings or even take long breaks. During these hours you are entirely focused on helping everyone in the team with what you can do to help the project out. I remember switching from helping the people making pixel art to helping the programmers find a solution for a problem in a matter of minutes. Besides being exhausted after these two days I felt really good after seeing the project working just fine.
