Here is the basic combat system, the idea is to be a bullet hell type of game. The player and the enemies are fast and the battle between them is chaotic.
This mechanic was a really fun idea to play with. We needed a ranged enemy that matched the lore of the game, so The solution was a tree that shoots bees.
The Boss implemented in this game has a very unique skill which is throwing pine grenades at the player. Another great mechanic that matches perfectly with the Lore of the game.
This mechanic was implemented to help the player survive the hordes of enemies. This box will restore a maximum of 5 health.
This mechanic a way to slow down the player and give them some kind of decision-making moment while playing the game. Sometimes the slow way is shorter but harder to get through while the normal way has more enemies and is longer.
